Lowell Heading to AAOS

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting is in Las Vegas, NV March 25-27.  Lowell is new to AAOS having exhibited for years at NASS.  As a result you’ll need to look pretty hard to find us.  We are in the First Time Exhibitor section booth #768.  Lenny Schaust, Rick Cullen and Jurell Baker who heads up our Swiss Department will be there to answer your design or manufacturing questions.  Since Easter is almost here stop on by for a handful of jellybeans and a 50^th Anniversary coffee mug.

Lowell Adds Nakamura WT-100

Nakamura WT-100 – Reduces Cycle Time 33%

Lowell is adding to our multi-tasking machining capabilities by acquiring a Nakamura-Tome WT-100.  The Nakamura standard features include upper and lower 6,000 RPM turrets with 24 tools each, two opposed spindles and a Fanuc 31i controller.  As usual we’ll be adding all the bells and whistles doubling the turret tool capacity to 48 and adding a bar feeder and chip conveyor.
